1. Scope and company
This policy describes remainderbox.com, operated by Remainder Box Inc. It covers website browsing, the fictional inventory example, and contact, waitlist, and demo inquiries. It does not describe a production inventory SaaS, which is not offered through this site. Contact aaron@
2. Information you provide
Forms collect your name, email address, company or store if supplied, request type, message, and privacy acknowledgement. We use these to respond, understand product needs, discuss a potential demo or pilot, and manage relevant correspondence. Do not provide credentials, API keys, customer records, payment details, or confidential inventory files.
3. Waitlist requests and updates
A waitlist request expresses interest in early access and relevant availability updates. It does not create an account, subscription, guaranteed place, or promise of access. Placement and timing are confirmed by reply. You can ask us to stop availability updates at any time by replying or emailing the contact address. Separate marketing permission would be requested where required.
4. Inventory example
The example uses built-in fictional records. Filters, charts, and a review plan run in your current browser tab. The site does not send those interactions or review notes to a store or remote inventory database, and does not save them to localStorage or IndexedDB. Reloading or closing the page clears the local plan. Your device, browser, and extensions may have their own behavior.
5. Delivery, cookies, and technical data
The contact endpoint attempts to send inquiries by email. If online delivery is unavailable, a prepared draft can be opened in your own email application. Opening it does not send it automatically; your email provider’s terms apply. The endpoint may set a temporary HttpOnly, SameSite session cookie for request protection and submission limits. No analytics or advertising scripts are included. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs, and timestamps in operational logs; retention depends on host settings.
6. Purposes and legal grounds
Information is used to answer requests, take steps you request before a potential relationship, discuss product availability, operate the website, prevent abuse, protect rights, and meet legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on legitimate interests, requested precontractual steps, consent where required, or legal obligations. We do not sell inquiry information or use it for targeted advertising.
7. Providers and disclosure
Hosting and email providers may process data to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. No live store integration, AI provider, or customer-data connection is used by the public example.
8. Retention and international processing
Correspondence may be retained while a request, availability interest, or relationship continues and afterward where reasonably needed for records, compliance, or disputes. We aim to keep information no longer than needed for those purposes. Temporary sessions and logs follow host settings. Hosting and email may process data in the United States or other provider locations; no specific data residency is promised for this public site.
9. Choices and rights
You may browse and use the fictional example without sending an inquiry. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or other rights available under applicable law, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify a request and may retain information required by law. Where applicable, you may contact a relevant supervisory authority. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Security and changes
No system is guaranteed secure. This website makes no independent security certification claim. External websites have their own policies. We may update this policy as the site changes; a future hosted service would need additional information about actual data processing.
